Words: Todd Sutherland

This really is one of those things you need to get off your arse and see. "Closer to the Edge" is the Richard De Aragues directed story of the 2010 Isle of Man TT.

The film is a 3D documentary of last years meeting and a fabulous insight into what attracts so many to such a deadly pursuit.

Run on a small island between England and Ireland in the Irish sea, for over 100 years. Kiwi's have had a long association with the event.

A couple of Kiwi's make brief appearances in the film (although no mention is made of the fact that Anstey lead a couple of races and had no less than three mechanical breakdowns over race week)and along with some great action shots, contribute to viewers getting an idea of what the TT races mean.

I promise you that getting along to see this film is the closest you will get to experiecing a TT short of travelling to that side of the world.

It is sheduled to run a couple more days.

Below is a link to where you can see it in 3D. Type your local city in the "Change Location" box on the left.
