Dan Stauffer, riding the BMW S 1000 RR has won the Western Australian Superbike title, the first ever superbike title for BMW in Australia.

Riding the Warp Speed Auto Classic S 1000 RR, Dan has an unassailable lead in the State Championship. In Round 4 Daniel continued his domination of the series with the perfect weekend of racing.

"It has been an amazing season," said Daniel "The S 1000 RR is a magnificent motorcycle with dynamic performance and balance. Winning every race of the series has been brilliant and although I have secured the title I will be going all out in the final round".

Auto Classic's Jonas Goulden was ecstatic with the result.

"Unbelievable. We knew the S 1000 RR was a fantastic motorcycle but to secure the title with a round still to go is well, unbelievable. As well as a great motorcycle we have a great team and all praise goes to Dan Stauffer whose ability and professional attitude has been rewarded," said Jonas.

BMW Motorrad Manager for Australia and New Zealand, Tony Sesto was excited by Stauffer's performance.

"A fantastic effort by Dan to claim the WA title, the first by the S 1000 R in Australia. The S 1000 RR has made its mark around the world and it is exciting for us to see the first Australian title" said Tony.

The final round of the Championship is on September 25 at Barbagallo.
