Hot on the heels of the ’12 Sportster line launch in August, Australia-based local Harley-Davidson distributor Harley-Davidson Australia has released news of its remaining new-for-2012 models including the Dyna Switchback, Road Glide Custom and a line-up of Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO)  models.

Believe it or not there are 26 models in the 2012 line-up with the most popular available off-the-showroom floor

Highlights of the 2012 Harley-Davidson line include:

·         The new Dyna Switchback which combines hard saddlebags and a windshield with the Twin Cam 103 performance of the Dyna chassis.

·         The new Road Glide Custom range which this year sees the release of the new Tri Glide Ultra Classic with cruise and 103 engine as standard.

·         Plus an expanded Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) range using the Twin Cam 110 engine.

The Twin Cam 103 engine powers all 2012 Dyna, Softail and Touring models with the exception of the Dyna Street Bob and Dyna Super Glide Custom. This engine produces up to 135Nms of peak torque, an increase of approximately six percent over the Twin Cam 96 engine it replaces as standard power for many of these models.

Harley-Davidson is also celebrating the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary with a limited edition model finished in Silver Pearl and wearing V-Rod 10th Anniversary badges.
