British born Jason Bunyan has been given the call up to represent New Zealand at round one of this year's World Championship Grand Prix.

The inaugral event is to be run at Western Springs on March 31. Bunyan will line up against the top 8 riders in the world who were seeded straight in from last years championship. The other riders will be made up form riders who have won their qualifying races in events across the US and Europe.

Tickets are available from available here and start at a reasonable $50 for adults and $25 for kids.
