SLOAN'S TRI SERIES CRASH

Words: Todd Sutherland

Here is a link to a video of M1 Motorsport's Sloan Frost crashing his BMW Superbike in race two at Hampton Downs turn one.

Frost won race one in a commanding fashion at round one of the annual Tri Series, beating reigning champion Andrew Stroud (Suzuki). The video footage is from Strouds on bike camera.

Frost has been cleared to race at this weekends round two, held at Manfeild.

With the short, six race, series Frost's dnf will mean he has to win every remaining race, should current series leaders Stroud (Superbike) and Travis Moan (Bears-Experience BMW) finish as runners up, in order to take the title.

Frost told KiwiRider although he is feeling a little stiff from the incident he is looking forward to the this weekend.

The series concludes at Wanganui's Cemetery Circuit, on boxing day.
