WELLINGTON's Bruce Anstey has settled in nicely on the McIntosh Racing Developments Manx Norton in practice for the inaugural Classic TT at the Isle of Man.

In practice the nine-times TT winner has managed a best lap of 107.927 mph for second fastest in the 500cc class behind Olie Linsdell (Patton 500 twin) who flashed around at 110.442 mph.

That Anstey is second to a much later period bike, and a twin at that, says a lot about the engine preparation undertaken by McIntosh Racing's Peter Welch.

Behind Anstey is Chris Palmer on a Seeley G50 Matchless (106.659 mph) with Cameron Donald fourth fastest on the  Ripley Land Racing Matchless G50 also posting his fastest lap of the week with 106.040 mph.
