RIDE WITH HONDA TO THE BURT...

NEW ZEALAND Honda motorcycle importer and distributor Blue Wing Honda is organising a ride from its new Auckland Airport headquarters to the Burt Munro Challenge at the end of November.

Quite a few of the Blue Wing Honda staff will be going on the ride, which will visit dealerships along the way.

Dealer teams and customers are welcome to join in on the ride.

Here are the details from the team at Blue Wing Honda:

Following our national roadshow we want to introduce the Honda Rider tagalong to the Burt Munro.

We have mentioned that Blue Wing Honda team members will be travelling from Auckland to the Burt Munro Challenge (event in Invercargill, November 27-30) and we welcome any dealer team members, or customers to join the ride down.

The Blue Wing Team will leave from Blue Wing Honda on Friday, November 21 at 9am.
The planned itinerary is to pass through several Honda dealerships on the way down the line. We will visit both Cyclespot and Botany Honda in the morning before leaving Auckland.

We will be calling in at Honda Hamilton late morning, and then continuing to Waitomo where we will have our first overnight stop.  Day two will see us leave Waitomo, and head across country to Napier, via Waiuru where riders will have the option to visit the Waiuru Army museum.  From Waiuru we will travel up past Lake Taupo, calling through Erikson Honda in the afternoon.  Day two will then conclude in Hastings.
Day three will be the trip to Wellington.  Stops will be City Honda and Motomart.  Overnight in Wellington, November 23.

The South Island leg will commence on November 24.  We will head from Picton to Nelson, stopping at Morley Motorcycles.  From there we will head around the Nelson Lakes region, reaching Hanmer Springs for the overnight stop.

The November 25 will see us leave Hanmer and head down the east coast to Casbolts in Christchurch around mid-morning.  Following that we will head to Oamaru Honda mid-afternoon where we will overnight in Oamaru.

November 26 will see us make the trip to Invercargill for the commencement of the event.

All riders are welcome.  You may choose to do just part of the ride, some may choose to tag along for the entire trip.

The ride will allow us to showcase a variety of Honda product, and importantly have a bit fun along the way.  It is a great way to celebrate our brand.

The ride back will be at your discretion how you want to return, when you want to leave and which route to take.
