Spaniard Esteve ‘Tito’ Rabat topped the time sheet for Sunday morning’s Moto2 warm-up at Sepang with a lap time just 0.255 of a second outside his Saturday afternoon pole time.

By the time the Moto2 machines were halfway through their 20 minute session on the Malaysian track, the track temperature had gone from 39 to 42 degrees, but that was still well shy of the 56 degree track temperature the Dunlop control tyres had to deal with in Saturday afternoon qualifying.

Rabat looked in control and is on target to clinch the world title this afternoon.  Going into the race he holds a healthy 41 point lead over his Marc VDS Racing Team stablemate Mika Kallio of Finland.
