REA: 375 OUT OF 400

After eight rounds and 16 races, Irishman Jonathan Rea has amassed an impressive tally of 375 points - from the 400 possible from winning every race.

The record shows that when he hasn't been winning on the Kawasaki ZX-10R - and he has won 11 races so far - he has finished second.

Second in the 2015 eni Superbike Championship is 2013 Champion Tom Sykes, with 242 points, 133 behind his Kawasaki team-mate and 16 ahead of Leon Haslam (Aprilia) who has 226.

With 58 career podiums and 26 Superbike race wins, Rea is the most successful of the current Superbike World Championship contenders, just ahead of fellow Kawasaki rider Tom Sykes who has 57 podiums and 25 race wins.

Sykes is also the most successful qualifier, with 27 pole positions to his name.  Rea has qualified on pole just six times.

Both of them are well clear of the third most successful of the current crop, defending champion Sylvain Guintoli who has 40 podiums and nine wins to his name, along with four pole positions.
